With over 6 years of organizing experience, Owner and Professional Organizer Jen Zagorsky has helped almost 200 clients achieve their organizing goals. She is proud to be working in an industry that she not only respects but has a deep affection for.
“It’s not easy to invite a stranger into your home and ask them for help, but day in and day out, my clients prove how important a service like this is! We get to make people’s lives better every day, which is why I love this job so much.”
Along with her years of organizational expertise, Jen also brings a sense of compassion and understanding to her work. The process of de-cluttering can often be an emotional one so she and her team work side by side with their clients to alleviate the burden that disorganization often carries with it.
Jen Zagorsky has also been a member of the POC (Professional Organizers in Canada) for over 6 years and was proud to serve as the PR/Marketing Coordinator on the Executive Committee within the Calgary Chapter from 2011-2013.
When she’s not busy organizing other people’s homes, she’s busy with her own! She’s a Mom to 2 adorable little boys who have given her a new appreciation for what Mom’s face on a day to day basis. She knows that finding those extra pockets of time for organizing isn’t always possible, which makes working with other busy Moms that much more rewarding.
Rachel’s love of organizing can be traced back to childhood. Growing up in a small 19th-century character home, one of her favourite pastimes was trading rooms with her sisters. Countless hours were spent rearranging furniture, decorating and organizing.
This interest eventually led her to complete a Bachelor of Environmental Design focussing on architecture and the built environment. Alongside her education, a career change led her to discover the art of visual merchandising which in turn sparked her interest in professional organizing.
Rachel became a member of Professional Organizers in Canada in January 2018 and successfully completed the Trained Professional Organizer program in June 2018. When she’s not organizing, you’ll find her mountain biking, skiing, hiking or in the kitchen fuelling up for the next adventure.
Rita’s career path started in the field of forestry and has journeyed through aircraft engineering, ecotourism, land surveying, and construction. It’s these diverse backgrounds that allow her to approach the challenge of organizing in new and unique ways. She is naturally detail-oriented and has finally found her calling in organizing. Combining construction and organizing allows her to provide clients with organization solutions that are suited to their individual needs. Additionally, this saves the client the hassle of asking family members or calling in a contractor for small projects.
“There are few things that bring me more joy than helping people achieve their goals and watching that weight being lifted off of their shoulders.”
Although every room in the house is a new and engaging challenge, Rita’s specialty is garages. Often the garage is the first thing that you see upon returning from a long day of tackling life. Rita wants that first thing to be welcoming and pleasing.
Rita has been a member of the Professional Organizers in Canada (POC) for two years and enjoys being the Treasurer on the Calgary Chapter’s Executive Committee.
When Rita is able to manufacture free time for herself she enjoys working in her yard and garden, biking, camping, reading, and attempting to master the yarn arts (knitting and crocheting).
Lathered Cleaning Company
Kristin Verbeek and Meghan Peters both started out as working moms with little ones that had too much to do and not a lot of time to do it. Late for school plays and chipping their teeth trying to get the plastic wrapper off of their bake sale goods; they knew there had to be a better way. Kristin and Meghan sympathized with other working mothers and knew that they could help without breaking the bank and so, Lathered began!
Within a short week of using grocery store cleaners they had Pinterest open and furniture upside down trying to find cleaning products that could kill bacteria and not kill their skin and lungs…and they found it! 19 teams armed with the best all-purpose cleaner money can’t buy with the essence of essential oils wherever they go!
